Shadow chasing

This afternoon, after I finished my lessons, I was relaxing on the couch for a minute, and the sun was coming in the through the front window in a very friendly way. It cast shadows of the window frame on the carpet in the living room. Ginny came into the living room and walked across the shadow. She saw this image of herself moving, and then disappear as soon as she moved out of range of the sunlight. She laughed hysterically, and then took little baby steps backward until she saw her shadow appear again. She laughed again, and then started over. I think she repeated this shadow chase four or five times. It's fun to have a baby to discover the simple things all over again. I remember being fascinated by shadows when I was a baby.
