Mary Mary Quite Contrary
Tonight Emily asked me to make sure her white pants would be out of the dryer in time for her to wear them tomorrow. When I asked her why, she said it was because tomorrow was Cardinals day at school so she wanted to dress in White Sox colors. I jokingly asked her why she had to be so contrary all the time. Her quick response, "If my name were Mary, I'd be in the poem."

Ginny's ABCs and Sam quote
Ginny: (singing the alphabet) abcdefg......qrs t for Trevor
For sam's part in the primary program he is supposed to share a promise made to us by a prophet in his own words. So, I was trying to prompt him a little. the conversation went like this.
mom: What do the prophets tell us we should do?
Sam: be nice. don't hit. don't kick. don't push.
mom: Do you mean to be kind and love others?
sam: Yeah!
mom: If we are kind to others what do the prophets promise us?
sam: That we can get our dessert back!
The final result...
The prophet promises us that if we are kind, and love others, that we will be happy.
When I told the primary president this story, she said we should just go with the dessert line....
